Numbers leave no escape. The gap between girls and boys in technical and scientific disciplines in our country is higher than the rest of Europe. Female graduates in scientific subjects in Italy are only 9.9%. To better understand the reasons behind this scenario and face the gender gap issue, Pink Cloud is born, an initiative from Microsoft that encourages girls with workshops, lectures and seminars to undertake the scientific path. After the editions of Florence and Rome, Pink Cloud arrived in Milan in 2015 and involved approximately 2,000 young women who came from all over Italy and abroad. Rndlab worked on the editions of Rome and Milan taking care of the digital platform, contents creation and social media management. We followed the events and workshops with live twitting and made over 100 video interviews.
